Happy Venus day! Amy Keller here, Co-Creator of THE MOTHERSHIP.

Today, I hope this is The note that hits your inbox and invites you to daydream a little. Lately, I’ve needed to step away from the heavy topics at times. Maybe you have too. Venus day feels like the day to indulge in the impulsive, love driven desire to reinvent ourselves over and over again - without losing ourselves. I hope you feel inspired by the personal note and journal prompts below.

I’m sending you so much love,

Amy

BUT FIRST, some housekeeping — You may have noticed we’ve converted THE MOTHERSHIP into a community-funded project. You’ve continued to share with us that you want more and desire to be a part of the creation of THE MOTHERSHIP Vol II, and we’ve listened.

Our commitment to creating and sharing together with the village means our first community-investment with your financial support will be in upgrading our audio equipment.

Thank You to those who have already pledged and thank you to each of you who are here commenting and sharing THE MOTHERSHIP Substack community and THE MOTHERSHIP Apple podcast audio experience with others.

The Mothership is a reader-supported community and audio experience. To receive weekly newsletters & join the live sessions consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.

I’m always trying to get back to India Amy.

A time in my life when I’d just walked off a professional cliff and abandoned my glossy NYC job as a Fashion and Beauty Publicist to move with my new husband to New Delhi, India.

I still remember the day I told my private clients I was moving. Naively expecting to hear their excitement and support on the other end of the call; I was promptly fired by all three of them. You’ll remember before 2020, working remotely was for bloggers and millennial digital influencers 😏.

India Amy was raw. Typically suffering from food poisoning (or was that a dark night of the soul).

She was well-rested, read and meditated.

India Amy dressed like a native in block printed silk dupattas and modest crinkled lehenga skirts. Still my favorite outfit today.
