It was always our intention—mine and Jeana’s—to create an audio-first experience for present and future mothers. Something slow, intentional, and built one track at a time.
We chose Substack to hold the community, and Apple Podcasts to house the audio. Each space serves its own purpose, but together, they form the whole.
Along the path to the release of our sophomore audio album last Fall, we received many private messages from you.
One of the collective themes that stood out to me was how energizing it is for others when we each embody our personal destiny, with a holy endurance — for others to see.
This is the idea that — “keeping up” is a practice that you do which gives hope to others when they see it in action.
This is the idea that — most of the effect your work has in the world after you share it, you won’t see directly, or at all. But it will have an effect, nonetheless.
This is the idea that — your single pointed projection creates a legacy of sound that holds an infinite number of potential possibilities for others to create from.
This is the idea that — the Giver always receives the most.
It’s an honor to share this commitment with you. We hope you’ve enjoyed The Mothership: an audio collection from the village; Volume 2.
Track 9 is a montage of “Words to Live By.”
The power to execute through endurance, surrendering to your full being, 100x more power, and more...

Most days Amy can be found creating in the kitchen, singing with her children and sending voice notes back and forth with friends. Her credits include Co-Creating & Publishing Amber, a limited-run newspaper meets workbook, and the women’s marketing community and course, Mega Magnetic Storytelling. She lends her past experience as a NYC Fashion & Beauty Publicist for brands such as, Ralph Lauren and L'Oreal, to her current client & creative work.
About Jeana Donovan
Jeana Donovan (a.k.a Isaiah’s mom) is the creator, producer, editor and contributing writer of The Mothership. Her passion for motherhood and restoring the forgotten “village” came shortly after becoming pregnant and discovering the holier, more sacred approaches to birth that seemed to have fallen through the cracks of modern maternity. Her love of collaborating with artists and bringing ideas/stories to life has been a driving force to her work. Her credits include a voiceover in a U2 video, artwork featured on Times Square, and several recorded conversations with her husband, Remington, in their weekly podcast The Mystical Artists.
